My goal is to get tired of the Hunger Games….
Okay, So during Spring Break, I was really sick with the “Spring Fever” and forgot/missed xtech for two days. I went on the last day (Thursday) and found out that they were working on these pinewood derby cars for the last two days. I made mine in one day!:] I liked Camilia’s school bus thing, it was really creative! And Crystal’s Hunger Games car, even though I came up with the idea, aha. My car ,when I added three tubes of extra weight added up to exactly 5.0 ounces!(: My car was called Purple Sparkles and I beat everybody except Luis, the guy who also beat me in the sumo cars over the summner.
Over the summer, I didn’t really do much but go swimming and stayed home…OH and meet xtech for the first time! haha

Today, high school interns from the California Academy of Sciences came to the Exploratorium to talk and teach us about flight. We split up into two groups and did workshops. When we first got to the Exploratorium today, we went down to the floor and explored. Then we met up at the “Skyline” which…

Today, we went to the tactile dome at the exploratorium. We had to use our senses. It was really dark in there so i was really scared. I kept on holding Crystal’s foot. After we finished the dome, we went again like 10 times. Shannon, Crystal and I went to scare everyone in the red room, jump house exit. Later, Jason, Romina and Sydney scared us back. Jason asked us directions on how to get out and Crystal and Shannon told him to go up the side. I ruined it by saying he was going backwards, I regret that LOL. Later when most people left, in our last run, we got to use our cellphones through the dome, it actually looks scarier with the lights on. There was a room with only dolls.

Today at xtech, we learned bout buoyancy, displacement, and neutral. Buoyancy is weather something will sink or float. Displacement is pushing away from water. You can use displacement to measure unmeasurable objects. Just put the object in the water and see how much the water rises, and you got your volume! I came in late so I didn’t do the math equation. Later I went with Shannon and Crystal to explore the exploratorium. We were trying to surprise people with bushes but no one came. So. here we are.

A few weeks ago, I was in xtech’s two-week summer program. I just received a letter from xtech inviting me to its school year program. Today is the first day I’ve came back to xtech. During the summer program, i really enjoyed building projects so I knew I wanted to come back. I really look forward to going on the skydiving field trip in december. Bye for now:]
